Poker

Most online casino games are luck-based, but poker is one of the few games that is more about strategy than luck. So if you don’t feel like relying on Fortuna and would much prefer making your own luck and dominating the game and raking in the wins with your strategies, then Poker from Champion is exactly what you need.

Features

Gamble Feature

After every winning hand you have two options: you can either take the win and start a new hand, or you can gamble it to try to multiply your winnings.

If you decide to gamble, press the button next to the Deal button, on the left side. You’ll be taken to a different screen where you’ll see five cards. The first one is face up, and the other four are face down.

You need to pick a card from the four cards that are face down. If the card you picked is of greater value than the one that’s face up, you will double the initial win.

If it’s the same value, it’s a draw and you get to try again or can take the initial win and return to the main game.

If your card is lower then you’ll lose the initial win.

Details

This pay-table uses only one deck of 52 cards.

In front of you, there are three special sections called Antes; they are situated right above the Bet sections.

Before the start of the deal, you need to make bets on these sections.

You have the opportunity to bet on one of the three sections, two of them, or all three.

After this, the dealer gives five cards for each of the playing sections. He always puts one of his cards openly.

After you have more information at your disposal, while evaluating the value of your cards, you must make a decision on each of the playing sections. You have a choice:

  • Fold/Pass - you lose your initial bet.
  • Bet - you place a bet equal to two Antes.

This is followed by a comparison of your combinations and the dealer’s combinations.

  • The purchase of the sixth card - you buy the sixth card for the price of one Ante.

This increases the chances you will have two combinations and/or receive the missing card for your combination.

For comparison with the dealer’s cards, your strongest combination of five cards is used, though the payment itself will be made for the combination of six cards.

  • Card replacement - you change one to five of your own cards. The cost of the replacement does not depend on the number of cards, it is equal to the Ante bet.

Additional Rules and Features

Buying a game for the dealer

An additional bet (that costs one Ante) is made in order to buy the dealer a minimum combination.

The dealer replaces his higher card with another one as soon as you’ll pay that extra Ante.

If after that the dealer creates a better combination than you, you will lose both the Ante and the Bet.

Double combinations

You have the opportunity to have two combinations on your hands.

This is one of the features of Champion’s Poker. These combinations can consist of common cards, but remember that at least one card from the first combination should not be included in the second one.

For example, you will buy the sixth card and now you get 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 of different suits. This will mean that you have two straights: from 5 to 9 and from 6 to 10.

Insurance

In case you’re collecting Straights and higher, you can insure your cards from the dealer's No Game/Nothing combination.

Before he’ll open his cards, you need to place a bet in the min.-max. amount (which equals 100 Ante).

You win the insurance and get paid in the ratio 1:1 if the dealer doesn’t collect the minimum combination (for this game it's an Ace-King combination and higher).

But you lose your insurance if the dealer collects his poker combination.

Bonus bets/B+.

In addition to the obligatory bet on Ante, before the draw, you may also place an additional bet on B+.

The min.-max. betting amounts are shown on the poker table.

You can place this bet if you have a winning combination on the first hand, before you replace your cards or buy a sixth card.

That means, if at first you failed to collect the winning combination, you bought the sixth card or changed one of the cards - you lose the opportunity to make the bonus bet/B+.

Even if the dealer has No Game/Nothing, you win if you have one of these combinations:

  • Straight - 40:1
  • Flush - 60:1
  • Full House - 100:1
  • Four of a Kind - 200:1
  • Straight Flush - 500:1
  • Royal Flush - 1000:1

Comparison of Results

Once you’ve finalised your decisions and placed your bets, the dealer reveals their cards, and the comparison of hands begins.

If the dealer does not have a valid combination, you will receive an 1:1 payout on your Ante bet for each active section.

If the dealer’s hand beats yours, you will lose both your Ante and Bet wagers.

If your combination ties with the dealer’s, both bets are returned to you.

If your combination is higher, payouts will be made according to the paytable. For multiple winning combinations, each one will be paid out separately according to the rules.
