In Hero’s Quest you have to pass the field before you, avoiding the unsafe sectors. 

To start playing you’ll have to select your desired game field size. There are four options available.

The smaller the game field is, the higher the risk will be, but the potential payouts also increase tremendously.

After you’ve decided on the field size, you’ll also have to pick your bet size. The bet you choose now will apply to the entire round.

Once you’re ready, click on the Start button. Keep in mind that once the game begins you won’t be able to change the bet or the field size.

You’ll see highlighted sectors and you’ll have to click on the one you want to move to it. As explained above, you can also press the Random button and let the computer choose for you.

The entire board is made up of two types of sectors:

• safe sectors that bring you a payout and allow you to keep playing the game if that’s what you want.
• unsafe sectors which will end the round, and lead to losing your bet and all the winnings you’ve accumulated in that round.

You have two options whenever you pick a safe sector:

• continue the round and choose the next sector;
• end the round and withdraw the current win by clicking the Cash Out button.

You can withdraw your winnings even after the first successful sector choice.
